Important Information

CancellationsRego fee: Cancellations must be in writing. An administration fee of $150 will be charged on all cancellations prior to 17 May 2020. Thereafter refunds will be at the discretion of the Organising Committee and will be processed after the Conference. No refunds will be made for late arrival or early departure. Registrations may be reassigned to another person from the same organisation without penalty. Please notify The Conference Team of any changes prior to the Conference.
Hotels: Please note, a change to your hotel booking could incur a penalty being charged by the hotels. The hotels will charge a FULL cancellation fee for any cancellation within 30 days of conference. If we can onsell your accommodation, we will.
Insurance All insurance is the responsibility of registrants. The Conference Organising Committee, IPWEA NZ, The Dunedin Centre and The Conference Team accept no liability or responsibility for illness or death, injury or accident to or financial loss by any person attending the Conference, whatever the cause
Liabilityn the event of any disruption or event leading to losses or added expenses being incurred in respect of the Conference, there shall be no liability attached to IPWEA NZ, the Organising Committee, The Dunedin Centre or The Conference Team.
Registration Credit Card PaymentsWe will neither collect nor store your credit card details. On the registration form, you will be directed to use the credit card payment facilities provided by Windcave. Windcave makes the following statement on security:

Privacy PolicyBy completing this registration form, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be made available to the Conference Committee, accommodation providers (for the purposes of room bookings) and conference sponsors. Your details will be included in the delegate list unless you have indicated otherwise on the registration form. This listing will include your name/organisation and city and does not include your email address.
Liability and WarrantyThe Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies to the sale of goods or services to consumers. If the goods or services are acquired for a business, then our liability is limited to the contract price.
DisclaimerThe convenors reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. Neither the organisers (The Conference Team Ltd) nor the convenors shall be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation or abandonment of the event where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term “Force Majeure” means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to war, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, pandemics or natural disasters, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. CPD's CPEng registrants and MIPENZ engineers at this conference can record attendance in their CPD logs. Include the following as part of the description: Conference name, sessions attended and a brief statement identifying some of the specific learning outcomes. Reflect how these have ‘developed/enhanced’ the currency of your knowledge and skills and how these have been applied in your engineering projects/activities. Lastly reference the main competence elements addressed in the sessions
